Inspector/Packer

Job Profile:
- Perform final inspection of parts of plastic packaging to ensure our product meets specs
- Adjust shakers, sorters, and related equipment for maximum efficiency and check regrind bucket for good parts to eliminate throwing good parts away
- Ensure product meets customer fit, form, and function requirements
- Use of cutting tool to trim or modify product as needed of excess plastic
- Prepare the area for the correct box, regrind bucket, and pallet
- Assemble, pack, seal, and weigh boxes while maintaining a clean work area
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED, prefer line work or assembly experience
- Possess large motor skills to bend, twist, and lift boxes which have a weight range of approximately 10 to 35 pounds, and lift the boxes over shoulder level
- Must be able to attention to detail to see part defects and color variations
- Must be able to perform hand/wrist motions such as grasping, pulling, and pushing to prepare items for packaging
- Ability to pass a pre-employment physical including screening for drugs, alcohol, and nicotine
